Zimbabwe’s Prime Minister says farm invaders will be arrested and prosecuted

Zimbabwe’s Prime Minister, Morgan Tsvangirai has warned people invading commercial farms that they are committing crime and they will be arrested and prosecuted. Robert Mugabe has successfully used land as a major weapon to stay in power and in the process his government destroyed the country’s economy.

How will Robert Mugabe and his supporters react when the law descend on these thugs who have been invading farms?

“This government is aware that most of the ongoing disruptions of agricultural production, which are being done in the name of the land reform process, are actually acts of theft,” Tsvangirai told a meeting of diplomats, civic society and business leaders.

“Those continuing to undertake these activities will be arrested and face justice in the courts. I have tasked the minister of home affairs to ensure that all crimes are acted upon and the perpetrators arrested and charged.”

If we are going to see any positive change in the country……the new government should make sure there is rule of law. Not the thuggish behaviour and corruption promoted under the Zanu Pf government. Those who commit crime should be arrested.

Should farm invaders be arrested??? Yes! And they should be jailed…..we are with you Prime Minister 100%.
