Tell then General!

Here is something that we knew all along, but for reasons best known to some Zanu PF people they found it very difficult to admit. Now someone has had the courage to confirm it.
The losing Zanu PF candidate for Gutu constituency, General Vitalis Zvinavashe has blamed president Robert Mugabe for the party’s poor performance in Masvingo province. ” There is no need to fight over these results, we must accept that we have lost these elections to MDC. What is important is to live together in peace, both losers and winners. We do not want violence in this area. We are relatives”, said general Zvinavashe.

According to General Zvinavashe, most Zanu PF candidates lost not because they are not popular in their areas. The main reason is that one man at the top. YES Mr President.
The vote recount in Masvingo failed to change the previously announced election results and Zvinavashe urged other losing Zanu PF candidates to accept that they lost and learn to live with it.

Was this vote recount necessary at all? I feel this was a pure waste of resources that the country can not even afford to. Shows how politicians are prepared to be selfish just to cling to power. They don’t care the damage their actions will cause to the general public. So should we take what General Zvinavashe to mean that Mugabe himself should also accept the reality that he lost to Morgan Tsvangiarai and live happily with it. No need to fight and kill your relatives, tell them again general.
