What a relief! Thank God, I can’t live with all that snow. I grew up in our motherland Africa where there is sunny weather all year round, never new anything like this ice rink Britain.
Whilst Australia is baking in record temperatures, we had to endure some miserables weeks of bad weather here in London…..Baby Boom on the way in England?
The good thing with the end of the snow days is that we can start to walk like man again. The last few days we were walking like an old lady in high heels (sisi Dhori vakapfeka gogo lol!).
In our Shona language I don’t think we have the word to describe the cold weather that we experienced in London. “Hanzi charova sei chando chakwidza Hamba mumuti?” Chemu London yayi buruka mumuti imomo ichimhanya.
I just hope we are past the worst of the cold weather. Vakuru vakati “Chitaurirwa hunyimwa mbare dzekumusana” ende kukurukura hunge wapotswa.
Our prayers today go to the people of Haiti and those who are working so hard to help the victims of the earthquake. God Bless them.
