Week-long Sex strike – What has sex got to do with politics?

I think the women in Kenya are taking their political protests a bit too far….into the bedrooms. Members of the Women’s Development Organisation in Kenya have organised a bedroom boycott in protest about divisions between the political leaders in the country. Should women use sex as a weapon in political protests???

Apparently the wife of Kenya’s Prime Minister, Mrs Ida Odinga has pledged her support to the bedroom boycott and she told journalists she is ‘definitely’ participating.

The protesters accuse PM Odinga and President Mwai Kibaki of squabbling over protocol and precedence instead of ending corruption and poverty.

So, what if you are a husband who has got no influence at all in the political developments in the country?? It’s not fair to suffer because of problems created by politicians. I see this causing problems in the bedrooms, plus when their man start playing away these women should not complain.

What do you think about the sex strike, feel free to share your views.
