Zimbabwe Prime Minister, Morgan Tsvangirai has said that there was no signs of systematic intimidation and violence in Zimbabwe. Tsvangirai’s remarks are meant to reassure Western donors as Zimbabwe desperately needs donor aid from Western governments.
“There is no evidence that there is a general campaign of intimidation and violence in the country”, Tsvangirai said in an interview with Al Jazeera. Well, we know where you are coming from Mr Tsvangirai. Zimbabwe needs help and the Western countries need to be reassured there is rule of law in the country and also that human rights abuse have stopped.
