The Banana Republic of Zimbabwe

They have no shame! For years the majority of Zimbabweans have lived a life of poverty. Some have seen their lives, careers and their dreams destroyed by the dictatorial regime that rules in Zimbabwe.
There has always been a lot of fraud and vote rigging in previous elections, and finally when Zanu PF has been defeated overwhelmingly by the opposition the dictatorial regime is now doing everything in it’s power to remain in power.

The people of Zimbabwe have spoken through the ballot, they no longer want to be led by a Zanu PF government. So why is Zanu PF fighting so hard to remain in power?
If people no longer want them, why do they have to force people to like them? What is it that is so special with them?

Everyone knows their contribution to Zimbabwe during the war of liberation. But did they fight the war so they can then oppress the people of Zimbabwe themselves. Zimbabwe will never be a colony again! They shout!
But we will forever be held to ransom for that. Heroes day is held to celebrate the good work that the real war veterans did for Zimbabwe. Not these current crop of greedy war veterans who are determined to destroy whatever little of Zimbabwe is left.

The other day the Zanu PF was accusing the MDC of rigging the elections. How ridiculous? Who controls all the rigging machinery in Zimbabwe?

Now those misguided elements, so called war veterans and Zanu PF militias are getting ready to cause more trouble. We know Jabulani Sibanda (the same Sibanda who was humiliated at the last Zanu PF conference) wants to be the next Chenjerai Hunzvi. These war veterans see another opportunity to get money from the state like they did in 1999, when they caused trouble led by Hunzvi and forced the government to print more money to compensate them.
Will our collapsing economy manage another round of printing money?

Why are the so called war veterans saying white farmers are going back in to the farms? Who are they fooling? They are just positioning themselves to get money from the government. Real war veterans do not hold the country to ransom by making these ridiculous demands.

There day of judgement will surely come, the people of Zimbabwe continue to suffer and if they make a statement by voting for the opposition. The government accuse them of being puppets of the west. If people are not happy with the current state of the economy when there are shortages of nearly everything, does that make them puppets of the state.
Can Zimbabwe survive another 5 years of Zanu PF government?
