Thabo Mbeki in Harare as power sharing deal get closer

South African President, Thabo Mbeki arrived in Harare on Saturday for power-sharing talks between the ruling Zanu PF and Morgan Tsvangirai’s Movement for Democratic Change (MDC).

Is it that the two parties are about to reach an agreement that will finally end the political crisis in Zimbabwe?
It has been reported in certain newspapers that Robert Mugabe and Morgan Tsvangirai could reach an agreement at a meeting on Sunday.

George Charamba, Robert Mugabe’s spokesman is reported to have said that “talks between Zanu PF and the opposition MDC had reached a milestone,” but could not comment on whether a power sharing deal was imminent.
