World News

A prominent Indian is starting his own political party that promises to bribe as many voters as possible. Jaspal Bhatti unveiled his new party and candidates promising to give the big parties a run for their money. It seems Mr Bhatti was annoyed by how much money Indian politicians are spending to win seats in parliament. I wonder if there is as much vote buying in Indian like in our own Zimbabwe….politicians are the same worldwide.

Mr Bhatti’s Recession Party does not have enough money to out spend the big guys, but he promises to reward contributors handsomely, they will also offer liquor and money to bribe voters and will do it in a transparent manner.

What can be done to stop these corrupt politicians from vote buying? In Zimbabwe for years we have had this problem of vote buying, in fact that’s the only reason why Mugabe is still in power today.

We should all say NO to corrupt politicians, they don’t care about the people but themselves only.
