A law was recently imposed in Zimbabwe which forces all foreign owned companies to give 51% of their shares to ‘indigenous’ people.

According to news reports Statutory Instrument number 21 gives any relevant business with assets of more than $500 000 45 days to submit a plan for achieving this transfer of ownership within 5 years.
