Sports, Zimbabwe News

Three Zimbabwean born players, Tendai Mtawarira, Brian Mujati and Tonderai Chavhanga were named in the Springbok squad announced by SARU president Orega Hoskins for this summer’s internationals.

The three players have been in fine form for their respective clubs and have been hugely impressive in this season’s Super 14 competition. Tendai Mtawarira is said to be very popular with the fans down south.

The South African squad is preparing to face Wales in a two-test series in June and also face Italy in a one-off clash before they embark on the Tri-Nations campaign.

Zimbabwe’s lose is South Africa’s gain

Good luck to the guys and I wish them the best in their forth coming games. They got the chance to pursue their Rugby careers in South Africa. They now have a chance to showcase their talents on the international stage. The chance which has been deprived to so many talented Zimbabweans.

I’m always interested in what you have to say, feel free to post your comments.
