@ anonymous.... I don't know if you remember that Simba Makoni actually submitted his nomination papers to contest in Zanu PF primary elections, to stand as a parliamentary candidate. If he had been successful he was going to contest the elections to be a Zanu PF MP.

When that failed, at the eleventh hour he decided he wanted to be president. To me Makoni is partly to blame for our troubles today.

When the results were delayed what did Makoni say? Nothing! He only came out for the presidential results verification.
When people were being tortured and innocent citizens being killed did say anything? Ever since the elections on March 29 how many people have been killed? How many people had to runaway from their villages because of violence?

Now only a few weeks before the run-off, he (Makoni) comes out against it. MDC and most Zimbabweans have been saying they are against this run-off because it does not help the country at all. Ever since it became clear Zanu intended to and was rigging the vote.

Your comments were well appreciated, but I still think Makoni could have done things differently, and he could have done more to save the people of Zimbabwe from the current crisis.

To say Simba is not genuine because he went silent after elections does not reflect serious thinking. Infact he said a lot if you missed it then that is where you should start. Ask for information then people will give you. One of our many problems is there is no more trust for anyone in Zim. If the 8% acted against MDC it also was against Zanu so Simba did not achieve anything. He worked with the other MDC after all Morgan called him names from the word go.
