It took Zimcargo 6 months to get my goods to Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe maybe miles away from England but I did not expect Zimcargo to take half a year to get my goods to Zimbabwe. Now to you my fellow Zimbabweans do not fall for this rubbish services from a certain Mr Nembaware and his zimcargo services like what happened to me.
Here is my story of my cargo which took 6 months to get to Harare and why I'm angry with this man and his company. In fact I can't even stand talking to him.

In November 2007 a certain Mr Nembaware from a company called zimcargo collected my goods to be delivered to my family in Harare. I paid him £192.00 and he promised that my goods will be delivered in 4 to 6 weeks time. Not 6 months.

The way this man talked about his company and the service they offer reminded me of insurance sales people.

The service I got from zimcargo is a disgrace. Personally I would advise anyone thinking about shipping goods to Zimbabwe to avoid this company. This will save you from all the embarrassment, stress and anger as well as the costs of phoning this man to follow up on your goods.
If you see his fliers throw them away or shred them so no one else falls for this rubbish service again. If you get text messages from him please just delete.

Getting him or his company on the phone is a pain. On the odd times that you do get him, he talks like he is a recorded message and will not give you a chance to talk, then he hangs up! How disgraceful!

Professionalism is one word which does not seem to be in his vocabulary. I could not believe he could put some one's website on his letterhead. On his confirmation letter he send to me he has got a website of another company also trading as zimcargo. So why is he promoting another competitor? Or is he trying to tarnish another company's image through his disgraceful service?

He did not even bother to respond to all the emails that I wrote to him, so what's the point of having his email address on his business letters?
Now he has seen it fit to send five texts of the same message to say my goods are now in Harare and ready for collection on Monday 21 April 2008. I wonder if it is over excitement on his part that he has finally managed to get the goods to Zimbabwe. Even though it took him 6 months.
He seems to be forgetting that he promised me that the goods will be delivered to my family's door step not for them to collect.

My advise to you my fellow Zimbabweans is to avoid this man Nembaware and his zimcargo company also trading as Crosswill Services. You may also want to let your friends and relatives know so they do not fall for the same rubbish and sh**t service.

My troubles shipping goods to my family in Zimbabwe: I tried to come up with a proper title for my post, it seems I can not find one that can fully show my anger on the service provided by Crosswill Services.
I didn't think one day I will be writing such an article about a company that promised so much when I first talked to the company representative in November last year. And they were even recomended to me by a friend.
So why 'am I so much angry with them you may ask? It's all because they have not yet delivered my cargo which was supposed to be in Zimbabwe by Christmas.

This is the background to my story. I did send my cargo to Zimbabwe through Crosswill Services. My goods were collected on 13 November 2007 from my place in London. They wrote a confirmation letter together with the delivery note to me which I received this year in January, saying that when the goods arrive in Zimbabwe, I will be informed by telephone. They also state in the same letter that my relation in Zimbabwe will be kept informed of every movement of the goods until final collection.

As far as I know, nobody from Crosswill Services has ever contacted any of my family back in Zimbabwe. Besides their text mesage to say my cargo was in Durban South Africa at the begining of January 2008, I have had no communication from them.

When I phoned their offices, a woman in the offices promised to call me back after checking the where abouts of my goods, but never did. I guess she is still checking.

I also checked the website that they have on the letter they send to me. Then I realised the website they have is not their correct website, but that of another company also trading as zimcargo. So I wasted my time sending emails to the wrong people again.
I wrote an email again to another email address they have on the letter, but they also never bothered to reply. I'm still waiting for my goods to get to Zimbabwe, and it's nearly three months now.

I can not believe I paid £182.00 for such poor service.
