An innocent man, Mr Ian Tomlison walking home from work during the G20 demonstrations in London last week is seen in this video footage being assaulted by the police. How can something like this be happening in Britain. This is the Metropolitan Police at work. Disgraceful to say the least.
The worst part is that the police lied in their statement when Mr Tomlison died, and if this video footage was not available everyone was going to believe the police account of events on the day Mr Tomilson died, sad!
The Independent Police Complaints Commission will carry out it’s own enquiries, hopefully at the end of day justice will be done. How can the police justify the kind of force that was used on Mr Tomlison, who was facing away from the police and had both his hands in pockets? Was he posing any danger to all those riot policeman behind him?
