Well, today I read a very interesting blog post by Sdudla, entitled “Robert Mugabe’s brother takes delivery of top of the range Rolls Royce”.
The guy has got taste…Yes! Very expensive taste, and as Sdudla rightly points out Chiyangwa is unfazed by the current global economic crisis and even the economic meltdown in Zimbabwe.
Chiyangwa has an expensive taste for fashion and drives the latest and very expensive luxury cars. He says he likes unique cars and as soon as other people ‘copy’ him, he moves on to another car. Here is a quote from the article by Sdudla:
Phillip Chiyangwa’s Rolls Royce Phantom is the first one in the country.
He seems to have more cars in his garage than undergarments in most people’s wardrobes.
This car is ‘royalty’ and does not come cheap. Who would honestly splash US$500 000 or R5 million on a car, this figure is minus the duties to the fiscus, adding up to US$1 million?
By the way, this is the guy who owns one of the largest houses in Zimbabwe with 18 en suite bedrooms and 25 lounges?
But questions will always be asked when someone spend such kind of money at a time when the Zimbabwe’s economy is crisis, even the whole global economy faces the worst recession in the history of mankind.

Well, Chiyangwa gets his money from sheer hard work, the guy is a workaholic as he sleeps late and wake up very early since he has an office at his mansion. I have read about his business empire which comprises of almost every kind of business i.e. property, engineering, manufacturing, car sales etc – so you can see that Chiyangwa is master of ingenuity and very adaptable to all business environs. lets give credit where its due because the guy is not a neither a thief nor conman so lets not criticize him for spending money that he works hard for. He is not in the presidium of Zimbabwe so lets not expect him to solve our country’s woes, ko ndiye adii zvake musiyei

@Anonymous, thank you for your contribution. There is no doubt Chiyangwa is a workaholic and was once a champion of the indeginisation process, in fact he has been involved in a lot of business ventures in Zimbabwe.
If I remember very well he was also the Zanu Pf Chairman for Mashonaland West not so long ago, which means he was part of the same administration which bought Zimbabwe to what it is today, isn’t it?
I give him credit for his hard work and for what he has achieved as long as everything is above board.
Plus I’m sure many Zimbabweans have different stories to tell about Mr Chiyangwa.
Credit to his hard work, identifying and grabbing opportunities.

Kojak thank you for your comment. judging from the types of businesses that Chiyangwa runs, it is obvious that the man is an adventurer. He saw an opportunity in politics, grabbed it and it for sometime it worked for him. The man is very intelligent and calculating and so he realised that he was being ‘used’ by the big wigs of that party and for sure they framed him, got him arrested and incarcerated. He was pumping out monies to finance political projects and got nothing out of it. So please Kojak dont condemn/persecute the man for having tried his hand into politics. I have so much respect for the man because he really sweats for his money and so we must not demonise him on the way he decides to spend it

@Anonymous, I don’t think I have demonised/persecute Chiyangwa. All I did was just ask a question out of curiosity. As you may know, when one splashes money like that people will always ask questions.
If he has earned his money through good means, good for him then and he has the right to spend it whatever way he likes.
Thank you again for sharing your views.

Kojak man, just accept that Chiyangwa is loaded and he has a ‘midas touch’ because everything he touches turns gold. The guy is unstoppable and he has unlimited talent to make money. The fact that he was Zanu PF Chairman for Mash West does not hold any water due to fact that Chiyangwa had loads of money before his political escapade, he had loads of money during his tenure as chairman of Mash West and (hear this) he still has loads of money years after his political career. The guy is just a genius and an entreprenuer par excellence. He was born with a God given talent of making money therefore nothing/noone can ever stop Chiyangwa since God keeps blessing him abundantly…

He is a man who is akin to rogue business, supported by the Zanu PF hoodlum and other economic vultures, is it not known that some of these companies are not his, for example that property development company belongs to Thabo…Well that aside the man knows how to spend his cash, has always known how to…
