Zimbabwe opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai attended a meeting with Senegal’s President Abdoulaye Wade in Dakar, Thursday. Tsvangirai said he was “fairly satisfied” with talks with President Mugabe’s party to end the political crisis in the country, adding that a Monday, August 4 deadline was not “inflexible”.
“I am fairly satisfied, but there are, like in any negotiations, sticking points that need to be unravelled,” Tsvangirai told reporters in Dakar after meeting Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade.
