Law and order is reportedly breaking down in Haiti, probably fueled by the escaped 3000 prisoner. Some of them are reported to be heavily armed gang members. But, how can we explain such behaviour when the country has experienced a disaster of such a magnitude. Why do humans behave in such a barbaric way at a time they are supposed to show their most caring side. 
Instead of looting, why can’t they use their energy helping people still trapped in the rubbles, helping the injured ones, help clear roads so aid can reach all the areas.
It’s so sad.
I remember a case that happened in Zimbabwe a few years ago when a truck driver burnt to death whilst people were looting sugar from the overturned truck.
Why do we behave this way?
