It’s a shame and they are a disgrace to Zimbabwe!
Well, how else could you describe the behaviour of some of these Zimbabwean woman who tarnish the image of the country through their prostitution in Botswana. “Zimbabwe wives during the day and Botswana prostitutes at night.” Afik.com reports that, “Despite their resentment by their counterparts, Zimbabwean commercial sex workers are a blessing to hot-blooded man in Botswana.
After sunset, Zimbabwean woman come out in hordes to wait for their clients next to the Gaborone/Francistown road. A suitable spot where all people alighting from buses pass through to get to the bars. They greet every man who passes-by hoping the conversation will lead to paid sex.Zimbabwean prostitution is said to have spread to all parts of Botswana and especially in the capital city Gaborone. Prostitution by Zimbabwean woman is a 24hour job conducted from rented houses that they have turned into brothels.
The excuses for going into prostitution are still the same for these woman, some of whom are married and got to Botswana to ’sell goods’ when in fact the only thing they sell is sex.
How big is a problem that can drive these woman into prostitution? Problem or no problem these women were always destined to be prostitutes I believe, otherwise how can one lose self respect to the extend of selling your body for sex. This is disgraceful. And some of these woman do not even care about HIV/Aids even though they know the dangers…..they don’t deserve to be in our society.
If these woman love their kids and husbands like they want us to believe, why can’t they do the sensible thing…..stop this prostitution business and go back home to their families?

It only depends on what you call meaningful isn’t it? With the rate at which people are dying from HIV/Aids, any sane person will not be selling sex for money.

And who are any of us to judge them…….rather judge the Zim politicians and the men that are paying to shag them…….
If there wasn’t a destroyed Zimbabwe looted dry by greedy politicians and greedy men who pay for shagging then the women wouldn’t be there……
Would you rather they were robbing and selling drugs….would that be more acceptable to you…….??????
Zimbabwe is already a disgrace because of zanu pf,mugabe and the generals and their 28 years of destruction and murder these women and what they have to do to get money are a by-product of that……

How many married men in Zim have ‘’small houses”and they pay those women as well…..
Why should married men go around paying women for shagging when they have a wife and kids at home…..????
Another thing how do you know that the men haven’t sent them to Bots for just that reason….make money from prostitution…..

Interesting and I like your contributions, As for Zanu PF and the generals….well, I have never supported either of them and I don’t intend to. They are responsible for the state of Zimbabwe today.
As for prostitution, I don’t support it for whatever reason one is doing it. It’s a matter of morals. Even ‘ma small house’ I don’t support the idea.
So, these woman may have their reasons for prostituting. Like you suggested, their husbands may have send them to Botswana for prostitution….but, does that make it morally right? What is wrong is wrong!

I can’t stand prostitution as well….the fact that a man married/single will go and pay to shag someone who has just been shagged by how ever many others …sort like a sloppy joe” makes me see red…..and purple and blue….and this ‘’small house” kak …well you really don’t know what I think about that….lol…..
At the same time about the women prostituting themselves and being judged harshly by the men for doing it…..well that also pee’s me off because it is hypocritical…..if men weren’t willing to pay for a shag then there wouldn’t be prostitutes now would there….
Yes it is wrong….look at the reason though and try and think what it would be like walking a mile in their shoes…..be slow to judge harshly and faster on the compassion side…
I guess you could say I just hate hypocrisy and ain’t afraid to say it…..lol
P.S…..just so you don’t think I am some sort of ”burn my bra” man hater female….men are my most enjoyable weakness and I thank God everyday that he made me a woman and gave men for me to admire and adore….

All I say is thank you to all the Zim men for blessing us Batswana with your women. They are cheap and good in bed. As far as HIV goes, it is proven that very few prostitutes are ever infected because they know their position and its dangers and insist on condoms. The highest transference is from drug users.

Instead of sympathising with people who are being abused you instead make fun of them. But my friend, the purpoted Motswana man who seems to take joy in prostitution does not represent all Batswana. Just like you, I personally and many other Batswana men are against prostitution.We are nit only against Zim prostitutes but against prostitution in its entirety. You must remenber Botswana also has its own prostitutes as well and its a concern. So all am am saying is do not throw a curse onto Botswana because of one ” sick comment” It might not even be from a motswana since it is anonymous.
