A One and half metre long crocodile with some of it’s body parts dismembered has been found dumped in the street. The dead crocodile was found dumped in Mangwende Street in the Harare suburb of Highfield. How the crocodile got there will always remain a mystery.
Inspector Terrence Matavire of Machipisa Police Station said investigations to establish where the reptile came from are in progress.
“We have no information about where it came from…we are still investigating the issue,”he said.
Crocodile is one of the animals associated with witchcraft in our Zimbabwean community, plus the fact that the crocodile had body parts missing will further strengthen the suspicion of witchcraft.
