Benjani Set To Look For New Club

Zimbabwe international Benjani Mwaruwari is set to search for a new club this summer after Sunderland boss Steve Bruce decided not to make his loan move permanent.

Benjani is out of contract at Manchester City, and with all the changes at mega rich Man City Benjani has no future at Eastlands.

I hope Benjani will able to get a chance to play for one of the premiership teams again, he never got the chance to play at Sunderland.

I don’t think Steve Bruce appreciated his play, he is better off going to a team where he will play more football.

Other transfer news; David Villa has joined Barcelona, but what about Cesc Fabregas is he going to leave Arsenal this summer?

Feel free to share with us your views on this summers football transfers.

Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur The Biggest Game In The Premiership This Weekend

Manchester United play Red Hot TottenhamHotspur in the Barclays Premiership this weekend. With only a few games left in the premiership if Manchester lose against Tottenham then they can forget about winning the premiership title.

Ok, are we going to see another 2-1 win for Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford Tomorrow?

Jermain Defoe of Tottenham Hotspur

I think it’s very much possible, remember within a week Arsenal was gunned down 2-1 by Tottenham and Chelsea were left feeling blue by the in form Tottenham.

So, it’s very much possible  Tottenham could win tomorrow at Old Trafford.

What do you think about this weekend’s premiership football matches?

Who do you think will win the premiership title this season?

Arsenal still have a mathematical chance and they think they are still in it, but this is not mathematics so they better forget it and start preparing for next season.

We are going to have lovely weather this weekend, so whatever happens in football just enjoy yourself.

Arsenal Gunned Down By Wigan

What a weekend of Premiership Football!

On a weekend when we were pre-occupied by the Zimbabwe independence day celebrations, we had to keep another eye on the Barclays Premiership.

Arsenal's Theo Walcot

What a weekend of football we had Chelsea lost, Manchester United won and they believe they are back in the race for the premiership title.

To top it all Arsenal was turned-over by Wigan Athletic with 10 minutes to go……what a game!!!!

From leading 2-0 only to lose 3-2 OMG!

Next it’s Liverpool on Monday in a must win game against West Ham. I hope Liverpool is going to win, what a season my team is having!!!!

And Liverpool has been put on the market. I hope some serious investors who know football will take over this team. Liverpool has under performed for many years now.

There is no doubt the game of the weekend was Arsenal against Wigan Athletic at the DW stadium.

I hope you enjoyed a great weekend of Independence celebrations and the Barclays premiership football.

Emmanuel Adebayor was right to celebrate – What if it’s your mother who is being insulted?

According to Arsenal supporters who were at the game between Manchester City and Arsenal last Saturday, Emmanuel Adebayor’s mother is a prostitute, while his father is employed as a menial labourer washing elephants. The Arsenal fans reportedly sang the ‘Emmanuel Adebayor song’ all afternoon even before kick-off. God knows what else they called him and his family.

So why persecute Adebayor for celebrating a goal that rubbed it all into the faces of Arsenal supporters who had been abusing him all afternoon?

Adebayor ran the full length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the Arsenal supporters. I can just imagine how they felt…..terrible!

But these Arsenal supporters forget all the abuse they shouted at Adebayor and his family all afternoon.

Whats so special about supporters that they can abuse players and get away with it? If footballers should not do it, it follows that supporters must do the same.

As for Adebayor’s war game against Arsenal players, well that’s not the subject of this post, but he was unprofessional there.

People have rushed to attack Adebayor for his goal celebrations, but having endured all that abuse from the Arsenal supporters I think his reaction was normal. What if it was your own mother and father being abused????

Christiano Ronaldo sold to Real Madrid for £80 million

OMG this is Crazy!! This world of football! Manchester United have accepted a world record bid of £80 million from Real Madrid for Ronaldo. Whilst world economies are suffering from recession, football clubs are throwing around such obscene sums of money on one player???

Manchester agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to Ronaldo after he expressed his desire to leave. Well, good for him and good luck to Madrid. As for Manchester, could this be a sign of more bad things to come?? But like some have suggested, Madrid could have added another £20 million and bought Newcastle United….better value for money isn’t it?? Now I hope Tevez will leave as well.

Thank God The New Premiership Season Is Here

Is it only me who feels it has been a long summer without football?

What a welcome relief now that the new football season has finally began, at least there is something meaningful to watch on TV. Expectations are very high for there is a lot on offer, but who will be crowned Premiership Champions come end of the season?

I don’t think I will be wrong to say the title is coming to the Kop End.

To tell you the truth, my team was very lucky last week. It was lucky to come back from Belgium with a draw, but the good thing is, they are still in there.

Arsenal kicked-off the day with a win over West Brom, good for the Gunners, but will they last the distance or it will be the same like last year….heart-break. Poor Gunners!

Is Liverpool going to win the league this year?

I think this is the year. Liverpool started the campaign with a win over Sunderland and surely there are better things to come.

How many agree with me and think this year is Liverpool’s year?

Despite the American owners of Liverpool messing up things sometimes, the Reds will be a force this season and I think it will be our happy year.

As for United and Chelsea, they are already playing Catch-up!

Premiership Results:

Arsenal 1…………West Brom 0
Sunderland 0………Liverpool 1
Hull 2……………Fulham 1
Bolton 3………….Stoke 1
Everton 2…………Blackburn 3
West Ham 2………..Wigan 1
Middlesbrough 2……Spurs 1
