A bus driver died on the spot and ten other people were injured in yet another bus accident on Zimbabwe death roads. The accident happened at Musami Cross in Murewa when a Home Boy bus collided head-on with a ZUPCO bus. Reports say the Home Boy bus was racing another bus belonging to Chibwe Buses.
The Home Boy bus is said to have unsuccessfully tried to overtake another bus in front of oncoming traffic, resulting in the head-on collision with the ZUPCO bus. The Home Boy bus driver is said to have tried to jump off the bus but was trapped under the bus and died on the spot.
