A woman in Zimbabwe’s city of Bulawayo has found herself in trouble after she stripped naked and threaten to urinate into a cup of sugar after she was denied keys to the toilet. Judith Nyathi(28) of Nketa who is employed by Fawcet Security is being charged with public indecency, she pleaded not guilty when she appeared before a Bulawayo Magistrate.
In her defence, submitted by her, Mr Mweli Ncube of Cheda and Partners Legal Practitioners, Nyathi said she wanted to go to the toilet and went to the control room to get keys but the guards refused with the keys.
“The accused insisted that she was under pressure and she wanted to answer to the call of nature but the guards unreasonably refused with the keys,” submitted Mr Ncube.
Nyathi is said to have waited for 20 minutes but when the other guards refused to give in, she threatened to use the cup to relieve herself.
“The accused in order to express her urgency and seriousness of visiting the loo, jokingly went behind the counter and pretended to be squatting on the cup. The complainant did not see any part of the accused’s covered body, unless they have X-Ray eyes which penetrates opaque objects,” said Ncube
