For a longtime Zimbabweans have suffered under the Zanu PF government, the government of our dear Robert Mugabe whom many blame for the distraction of our once vibrant economy. To some, the only way we could build a new Zimbabwe is to remove Zanu PF and everything associated with it from the government. But now that we are stuck with this unity government between the MDC and Zanu PF, we need to work hard as a country in order to create a new Zimbabwe…..a new Zimbabwe brand.

Robert Mugabe and the Zanu PF government destroyed the country’s relationships with the international community and all international organisations important to our country’s economic development.
The bottom line is…..the international community does not trust the Zanu PF government and everything associated with the Zanu PF government.

For the new Zimbabwe to be a success and for the economy to recover we need all the assistance we can get from organisations like IMF and the World Bank. Zimbabwe needs to start re-building those international relations…..we need to get the trust of the international community again.

Targeted sanctions imposed on the country are also part of why we are suffering. All these barbaric acts of violence, harassment, murder and torture of human rights and political activists should end. We need a peaceful Zimbabwe….peace will give us a perfect foundation for economic recovery.

Corruption which is now part of our daily life in Zimbabwe should also end. A re-branded and new Zimbabwe is a must if this new unity government is to be a success. We need all the support we can get from the international community.
