Africa’s Olympic Village Closed – the village that was meant to showcase Africa’s cultural, artistic and sporting displays is reported to have been closed on Wednesday due to unpaid debts reported to be about £395 000, however the village communications director Mr Bagnis could not confirm the actual figure.
Africa Village, is set up in Kensington Gardens, west London, was hosting regular music concerts and African medalists. It is reported to be owing suppliers thousands of pounds.
