As the evil ship carrying weapons of mass destruction is stranded in the South African coast, there are cries for 'freedom' everywhere in Zimbabwe today. The once prosperous country full of happy people has now turned into an unwanted hunger and disease stricken country. The economy is in shambles, the country is in crisis because the ruling party does not want to release the results of the elections which everyone else besides Zanu PF believe Mugabe lost. The Zimbabwe government has now turned to acquiring weapons of mass destruction, to destroyed the same people whom they want us to believe they voted for Mugabe to remain in power. The same people whom they want us to believe they still want them to be in power. Can anyone out there here the cries of the Zimbabwean people? Probably NOT! God help us!
In the latest episode of the Zimbabwe election circus, there is more confusion and uncertainty as to what tomorrow may hold for the suffering Zimbabweans. At the end of the day what matters is the welfare of the Zimbabwean people. Politicians are a greedy lot who only care for themselves and they are prepared to do anything to remain in power. Even buying more weapons of mass destruction whilst hunger, starvation and diseases ravages the country.
Is a government of national unity with Mugabe as president the answer to the current crisis?
Is it that the government of Zimbabwe do not see what they have done to the economy and the lives of Zimbabweans? NO, they have eyes to see, they have ears to hear but they just don't want to because they are not suffering like the masses. Whilst they continue to super size themselves eating all the food available in the country, the majority of the people have nothing to eat.
The Chinese government should be ashamed of themselves for selling weapons of mass distraction to the Zimbabwe government. The ship destined for Zimbabwe has been stranded in the South African coast and nobody wants to touch it, let alone be associated with it. The Chinese were allowed to come into our country, flood our country with those inferior plastic goods. They even dumped those rubbish buses in our country. Anyone remembers those buses which struggled to go over the small road humps in Glen View. They also brought those not so reliable planes. So, is this how the Chinese reward the people of Zimbabwe? Give the government weapons to kill it's own people.
Nobody in their right senses would sale weapons of war to Zimbabwe at this time when there is no war and the country is not under any threat from anyone. At a time when the people are suffering, all they need is food not guns. What do they need guns for after all there are no more animals to hunt, if we assume they want to give the people of Zimbabwe guns. But you do not need bombs when you go hunting?
Our neighbouring countries are right to refuse to be associated with this ship carrying weapons of mass distraction. Who knows, maybe the weapons will be used against these neighbouring countries. Political instability and civil strife in Zimbabwe will affect the whole region. So maybe South African president Thabo Mbeki should think of that as he keep saying things are okay in Zimbabwe. If things are okay, why is the Zimbabwe government buying weapons of war?
