Ever wondered how Zimbabwe came to be what it is like today? We now have a $10 000 000.00 which can not even buy a pint of beer. Zimbabwe a country which once had such a vibrant economy. A country which was once the bread basket of Africa. A country which was once able to feed it's people. Now the country is suffering sever food shortages, and shortages of other basic commodities. There is no foreign currency, no fuel, no cash in banks and many Zimbabweans are now economic refugees in different countries all over the world.
I came across a paper presented by Dr Shana showing some of the high profile corruption cases involving senior government officials.

Here is a list of the high profile corruption cases during that crucial period when the economy was destroyed. Things were out of control and are still out of control. Was anyone prosecuted for all this? Was anyone ever held accountable for all these scandals? No wonder the country is in such a mess.
